Purging with Glauber's salt from Zirkulin:
Acute constipation (obstipation) can have many causes. To relieve this, the use of an effective laxative is often necessary. Zirkulin Glauber's salt is a saline laxative that is not only suitable for acute constipation, but also for emptying the bowels before a fast or in preparation for a diagnostic or therapeutic measure. Zirkulin Glauber's salt is a medicinal product.
Application:
To purge with Glauber's salt, adults take 10-20 g (equivalent to 2-4 teaspoons) dissolved in 250 ml of water once a day. For children over 6 years of age, the dose is halved. For rapid bowel emptying, the dosage for adults can be increased to 20-30 g (equivalent to 1-2 tablespoons). Before using Glauber's salt, please note that it is a medicinal product and should not be taken for more than three days.

Notes:
Keep out of the reach of children, cool, dry and protected from light. Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Read the package leaflet carefully before you start using Glauber's salt. Glauber's salt is not suitable for use in children under 6 years of age or pregnant women.
