ZALAIN cream dermatophytes, skin fungal infection Areas of application:
Fungal infections of the skin, caused by yeasts or dermatophytes.

Contraindications:
Zalain cream must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to sertaconazole nitrate, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate or any of the other ingredients. Clinical experience with the use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not available. To avoid contact with infants, Zalaïn cream must not be used in the breast area while breastfeeding.

Side effects:
In very rare cases, skin irritation such as redness, burning and itching. Contact allergic reactions are possible when using Zalaïn cream. Due to the content of sorbic acid, irritation symptoms such as skin inflammation can occur in patients with a corresponding disposition. Methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate can cause hypersensitivity reactions, including late reactions.

Precautions / warnings:
Methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate can cause hypersensitivity reactions, including late reactions. Sorbic acid can cause localized skin irritation (eg contact dermatitis).
