  • The preparation is a wound treatment agent.
  • The medicine is applied
    • for the soothing treatment of small-area, superficial, little weeping wounds with bacterial superinfection with tyrothricin-sensitive pathogens such as e.g. B. tears, scratches, abrasions.

dosage

  • Always use the medicine exactly as directed. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    • The gel is applied in sufficient quantity 2 to 3 times a day.

 

  • Duration of use:
    • The duration of treatment depends on the clinical picture.
    • If symptoms worsen or if there is no improvement within a week, you should definitely consult your doctor.
    • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

 

  • If you use more than you should:
    • There are no consequences to be expected. Continue treatment as directed in the dosing instructions.
    • However, if you notice any unusual symptoms, please contact your doctor.

 

  • If you forgot the application:
    • Continue treatment as directed in the dosing instructions.

 

  • Effects when treatment is stopped:
    • If you stop treatment with the preparation prematurely, the desired effect cannot occur.

TYROSUR wound healing Tyrothricin gel 15 g way

  • To apply on skin.
  • Apply the gel in the morning (noon) and evening so that the affected areas of the skin are covered with gel. A bandage is usually not required for minor injuries or skin inflammation on uncovered parts of the body. In the case of weeping wounds, it is advisable to put on a protective bandage, which should be replaced every 1-2 days or as directed by a doctor.

    • There are no data on the safety of using the drug in pregnant women. The potential risk for humans is unknown due to a lack of animal studies.
    • Therefore, you should not use the preparation during pregnancy.
  • Breastfeeding:
    • Since it is not known whether tyrothricin passes into breast milk, you should not use the medicine while breastfeeding.
