Composition



1 lozenge contains the active substance: 3 mg benzydamine hydrochloride.



Indications



Inflammation of the oral cavity and throat. Pain, redness and swelling in the course of viral and bacterial infections of the oral cavity and throat. Conditions after tooth extraction. In addition, the aerosol and liquid can be used in inflammation of the mucous membranes after radiotherapy, in conditions after surgical procedures in laryngology and dentistry, also after intubation.



Action



Local preparation with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, local anesthetic and antiseptic effects. Inhibits the formation of changes in the vessels caused by stimulated, adherent or moving leukocytes. It has a stabilizing effect on cell membranes. Inhibits capillary permeability, which is responsible for the anti-edematous effect. It penetrates well through the mucous membranes, accumulating in inflamed tissues. It is minimally absorbed into the general circulation.



Contraindications



Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation, phenylketonuria, hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, congenital fructose intolerance.



Dosage



1 tablet 3-4 times a day. Treatment should not last longer than 7 days.
