Echinasal ® syrup is a herbal preparation containing an extract of plantain leaf, grindelia herb, and rose hips, thyme herb extract, and purple coneflower juice. It is traditionally used as an immune stimulant.

The drug's effectiveness is based solely on long-term use and experience.
Echinasal syrup is traditionally used as a preventative during periods of weakened immunity. It is also used as an adjunct for mild inflammation of the upper respiratory tract with cough symptoms (e.g., during a cold).

How to use ECHINASAL syrup:

Children from 7 to 12 years of age – 1 tablespoon twice daily; children over 12 years of age and adults – 1 tablespoon 3 to 4 times daily.
Children under 7 years of age – only after consulting a doctor.
Use for no longer than 10 days; if symptoms worsen or do not subside after a few days, consult a doctor.
For preventive use (e.g., during periods of increased respiratory infections), use half the therapeutic dose.
Children 7 to 12 years of age – 1 tablespoon once daily; children over 12 years of age and adults – 1 tablespoon twice daily.
Children under 7 years of age – only after consulting a doctor.
Prophylactic use of the preparation requires multi-day administration, but no longer than 20 days.

[extractant mixture: ethanol 30% (v/v), glycerin, ammonia water 25%]
Purple coneflower herb juice (Echinaceae purpureae herbae succus) (1: 1) – 2 g


Excipients

Sucrose, purified water, currant concentrate.
The syrup contains up to 1% ethanol by weight.
