SOLPADEINE Purpose
SOLPADEINE soluble tablets have an analgesic effect, with their help they can successfully control temperature conditions. They work successfully for colds and viral diseases. They are recommended in cases of disease with mild to moderate pain, and one of their most common applications is associated with toothache or dental interventions, including tooth extraction.
SOLPADEINE neutralizes the painful symptoms of rheumatism, sore throat, headache, muscle aches, discomfort and spasms during the menstrual cycle.
How it is taken
The preparation is taken orally, dissolved in half a glass of water. It is allowed to take two tablets at the same time in acute conditions, but not for long-term use. The maximum daily dose for children over 12 years is 6 tablets, and for adults - 8. The intervals between two doses of SOLPADEINE can not be less than four hours.
If SOLPADEINE does not respond to the condition within three days, your therapist will decide how to continue treatment. It is necessary to consult a specialist if you need to take the tablets for more than 10 days.
Possible side effects
Allergic reactions to any of the ingredients of SOLPADEINE are possible; if you are allergic to paracetamol, do not use this medicine! It is necessary to consult your therapist if the new medicine for you causes itching, rashes, sores in the mouth, coughing or shortness of breath. In this case it is intolerance, the symptoms disappear after stopping the drug.
The presence of codeine can cause very rare dizziness, nausea or constipation, and caffeine sometimes causes irritation of the gastric mucosa or insomnia. It is important to know that with normal dosing of SOLPADEINE these manifestations are rare and mild, but it is good to change the drug after establishing such effects.
When NOT to be taken
The drug is not suitable for children under 12 years.
SOLPADEINE should not be taken by pregnant women. At the doctor's discretion, the product can be recommended to breastfeeding mothers with special care, as it is possible at a higher dose to have effects on the child's body.
Patients with kidney and liver disease can take the drug at the discretion of the doctor. In diseases such as prostatic hypertrophy or inflammation of the intestines, this drug should be avoided.
Interaction with other drugs
It is not a good idea to take SOLPADEINE with other medicines containing paracetamol or caffeine. Paracetamol overdose is known to adversely affect the liver.
While you are being treated with SOLPADEINE, reduce your coffee and tea because of the danger of caffeine overloading the nervous system.
Consult your therapist about possible consequences if you are taking sedatives or hypnotics.
Combining SOLPADEINE with medicines to thin the blood or lower cholesterol will probably not work.
