Ibestinum FORTE SR is a food for special medical purposes, intended for the dietary management of: irritable bowel syndrome (IBS); ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease; intestinal microflora disorders after antibiotic therapy; functional intestinal disorders (diarrhea, abdominal bloating, constipation, dyspepsia); nutritional deficiencies (inadequate fiber intake).

Action

Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid, which is the primary source of energy for the epithelial cells of the gastrointestinal tract. Sodium butyrate has a positive effect on the intestinal microbiome, supporting the growth of beneficial bacteria and inhibiting the development of pathogens, especially in people with IBS and microbiome problems. The use of micropellets allows for the gradual release of butyric acid and additionally masks the characteristic odor of sodium butyrate. The product is in the form of micropellets. Thanks to the Sustained Release (SR*) formula, it gradually releases the active substances in the gastrointestinal tract, ensuring better absorption. and acting in the right place. It effectively supports intestinal regeneration and function at the highest level. Micropellets are designed to release the active ingredient gradually, depending on the environment (e.g., pH, enzymes, or transit time through the gastrointestinal tract). This technology ensures even release over a longer period, increasing the effectiveness of therapy.

Recommended intake:

Adults: 1 capsule twice daily. Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule daily. Swallow the capsule whole (do not chew or spill the contents) with a meal, washed down with water. Use for at least 3 months.
