Colfarm Sodium Butyrate

is a food for special medical purposes for adults. It contains sodium butyrate in the form of extended-release micropellets, enclosed in gastric acid-resistant cellulose capsules. The butyric acid contained in the capsules is a short-chain fatty acid that provides energy for the intestinal epithelium and has beneficial effects on the digestive system.

Dosage:

Oral: 1 capsule once daily. Swallow the capsule whole with lukewarm or cool water, during a meal. It should be taken under medical supervision. The duration of use should be discussed with your doctor.

Indications

: - Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Abdominal pain and bloating
- Acute diarrhea of various origins
- Persistent constipation
- Nonspecific inflammatory bowel disease
- Disturbances in the composition of the intestinal flora, including: during and after antibiotic therapy
