INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: INFORMATION FOR THE USER
Rosmarinus, Oleum aethereum 10%, liquid bath
additive. Active ingredient: Rosmarini aetheroleum 10%.
Composition:
10 g (11 ml) contains: Rosmarini aetheroleum 10%. 10 g (HAB, Vs. 12h with virgin olive oil).
Indications:
According to anthroposophical understanding of man and nature. These include: stimulating the heat system in cases of metabolic weakness, disorders of tissue nutrition and circulation, rheumatic diseases, a tendency to a general feeling of cold, morning fatigue, and circulatory tonification.
Contraindications:
This medicine must not be used:
- for bronchial asthma, whooping cough or pseudo croup.
- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to essential oils.
- due to the camphor content during pregnancy and in children under 2 years of age.
Precautions for use and warnings:
Breastfeeding should not occur immediately after bathing. The skin in the breast area should be cleansed before breastfeeding.
Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed, for children aged 2 to under 6 years, use a maximum of 2 ml per bathtub for oil dispersion baths. The tub must not be filled more than 1/2 full. For children aged 6 to under 12 years, use a maximum of 3 ml per bathtub for oil dispersion baths. The tub must not be filled more than 3/4 full. For adults and children aged 12 and over, use 3 to 5 ml of liquid bath additive (approx. 1 teaspoon) per bathtub (approx. 200 l of water) for oil dispersion baths. The bath temperature should be between 35°C and 37°C, and the bath duration should be approximately 20 minutes.
Duration of use:
Oil dispersion baths are generally administered approximately twice a week for 2 to 3 weeks; however, daily use can also be helpful in acute cases. As an adjunctive therapy, the oil dispersion bath can also be used for a longer period in chronic cases after consultation with a doctor.
Side effects:
In rare cases, local allergic reactions (contact dermatitis or itching) may occur when using this medicine. Inhaling essential oils may, in rare cases, cause an urge to cough.
