Pirolam nail polish healing 4g

The active substance of the drug is ciclopirox.

Each gram of varnish contains the active substance 80 mg of ciclopirox.

Other ingredients are: isopropyl alcohol, methoxyethene polymer with 2-butenedioic acid monobutyl ester.



Indications


Pirolam Lakier, a medicinal nail varnish, is an antifungal drug for topical application to nails in the case of nail fungus. The active substance contained in the drug - ciclopirox, penetrates the nail plate and has an antifungal effect on fungi causing nail fungus.

Pirolam Lakier, a medicinal nail varnish, is intended for the treatment of mild and moderate forms of fungus, covering less than 50% of the nail surface and a maximum of 4 out of 10 nails.





Method of use


The drug is intended for topical application to nails. The drug can only be used in adults


Recommended dose:
During the first month of treatment, a thin layer of varnish should be applied to the affected nail every other day. This ensures that the nail is saturated with the active substance. In the second month of treatment, the use of the varnish can be limited to twice a week, and from the third month onwards, use once a week.


During the entire treatment period, you should:


remove the entire layer of varnish with cosmetic nail polish remover once a week to ensure proper penetration of the active substance

file the nail plate with a disposable file before applying the varnish again (the file should be discarded after use).


In the event of damage or abrasion of the varnish layer during treatment, it is sufficient to varnish
the exposed areas.
