PILOXIDIL 2% 60ml solution

Composition:
1 ml of the preparation contains 20 mg minoxydil for topical use.

Action:
The preparation uses topical minoxydil. Stimulates hair growth in male pattern baldness in men and women. Androgenetic alopecia is beneficial for hair follicles, causing them to increase as a result of stimulation of DNA synthesis. Improving hair may also be associated with increased blood flow through the skin. The onset of hair loss is observed after about 2 months, the lichen appears after 4 months and the maximum effect - after about 12 months of systematic use. After discontinuation of therapy, it is possible to return to baseline after a few months. Minoxydil is a pyrimidine derivative. Systemic use strongly lowers blood pressure by directly affecting the smooth muscle of the arteries and a significant decrease in peripheral resistance. Causes secondary stimulation of the sympathetic system, acceleration of heart rate, increase of minute capacity and cardiac output, reduction of vascular wall sensitivity to catecholamines. Does not reduce kidney flow. It is characterized by high affinity for the walls of the blood vessels. Metabolized in 90% in the liver to glucuronides excreted by the kidneys.

Indications:
Prevention and treatment of baldness. Used in male pattern baldness in men and women.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to minoxydil or other ingredients of the preparation. Do not use during pregnancy and lactation or in people under 18 years of age. and over 65 years old Do not use the product on other than the skin surface, in the case of seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis. Caution in people with coronary artery disease or myocardial hypoxia.

Interactions:
Do not use with other topical preparations (corticosteroids, retinoids, kerosene) as this may increase the likelihood of side effects. Minoxidil can potentiate the effects of antihypertensive drugs (guanethidine).

Dosage:
Apply 1 ml of solution twice daily to the scalp at the site of dullness (or in a place at risk of hair loss). Spread the product over your scalp. Apply on dry skin.
