Unlike many other manufacturers, Panacaia has consciously decided to refrain from using mugwort and chaste tree in its teas and herbal extracts.

Mugwort: Mugwort is known as a strong allergen and can cause allergic reactions such as itching or breathing difficulties in sensitive individuals. Furthermore, mugwort contains essential oils that have a strong effect on the uterus, which could cause undesirable side effects in sensitive users. Panacaia, on the other hand, relies on mild herbs that provide gentle and reliable support.

Chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus): Chaste tree influences prolactin production and has a specific effect on the hormonal balance. While this can be helpful in cases of hormonal imbalances, it may be unnecessary or even counterproductive for women without prolactin-related symptoms. Another important point: Chaste tree is fat-soluble but not water-soluble.
