What is OPC?
OPC means Oligomeric ProCyanidins. These oligomeric porthocyanidins belong to a group of very effective phytochemicals. OPC is one of the flavanols found in many plants. They occur particularly frequently in the woody structures of the plant, such as the bark of trees, in fruit pits and shells.

The plants thus protect themselves from free radicals. Free radicals are intermediate products of every metabolic reaction. These are highly reactive, very aggressive oxygen molecules. These can be bound and rendered harmless by OPC. OPC is present in particularly large amounts in grape seeds. Therefore we use an extract from it to manufacture our OPC capsules.
