Nystatin acis® Cream

Active ingredient: Nystatin.

Indications:
Proven nystatin-sensitive yeast infections of the skin, particularly involving Candida spp., such as diaper rash.
Warnings: Contains methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, cetyl alcohol (Ph. Eur.), and propylene glycol.

Nystatin acis ^® Cream The spreadable Nystatin acis ^®

preparations are particularly suitable for the topical treatment of skin mycoses . The acis ^® nystatin product family includes various dosage forms for local therapy. Cream, ointment, and paste have different galenic characteristics. The medicinal product Nystatin acis ^® Cream is recommended for the treatment of nystatin-sensitive yeast infections in cutaneous candidiasis, but also in diaper rash. The cream also contains hydrophilic components, mostly water. This results in good spreadability. This is particularly desirable on sensitive skin and sensitive skin areas. Due to the water content and the associated risk of microbial contamination, creams almost always contain a preservative. Nystatin acis ^® Cream is preserved with methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate. The active ingredient content of nystatin is stated almost exclusively as activity. Nystatin acis ^® Cream is for use in proven nystatin-sensitive yeast infections of the skin, particularly those involving Candida spp., such as diaper rash.   • Has a fungistatic and fungicidal effect   • Resistance is not known   • Can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding!   • Is well tolerated   • Is particularly suitable when neither a greasy nor drying preparation component is desired
