NO-SPA Max 80mg x 24 tablets

• No-Spa Max 80mg is a medicinal product that contains drotaverine. The drug has an antispasmodic effect. It reduces pain in the abdominal organs and pelvis, recommended for example in spasmodic states of smooth muscles associated with biliary tract diseases.

Composition of No-Spa Max 80mg:

Active substance: drotaverine (Drotaverini hydrochloridum). Each film-coated tablet contains 80 mg of drotaverine hydrochloride and excipients - tablet core: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, talc. Tablet coating: Opadry II yellow 85G32207: polyvinyl alcohol, talc, quinoline yellow lake (E 104), macrogol, titanium dioxide (E 171), lecithin (soy), iron oxide yellow (E 172), iron oxide red (E 172).

No-Spa Max 80mg action:

The indications for the use of the medicinal product No-Spa Max 80mg are spasmodic conditions of smooth muscles associated with diseases of the biliary tract (cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, pericholecystitis, cholangitis, inflammation of the ampulla of Vater), spasmodic conditions of the smooth muscles of the urinary tract (nephrolithiasis, ureteral stones, pyelitis, cystitis, painful urge to urinate). The drug can also be used as an adjunct: in spasmodic conditions of the smooth muscles of the digestive tract (in gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, enteritis, colitis, spasmodic conditions of the gastric cardia and pylorus, irritable bowel syndrome, spastic constipation and intestinal flatulence, pancreatitis) and in gynecological conditions: painful menstruation. The active substance of the drug is drotaverine. The drug has an antispasmodic effect, reduces pain (painful spasms) in the abdominal organs and pelvis minor - in the digestive tract (stomach and intestines), bile and urinary tracts, and in women in the genital tract. Drotaverine can be used in smooth muscle spasms of both nervous and muscular origin, most often manifested by pain in the abdominal cavity. The antispasmodic effect of drotaverine does not depend on the type of innervation or the location of smooth muscles (gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary system, circulatory system and bile ducts). This substance is metabolized in the liver, excreted mainly in the urine and to a lesser extent through the digestive tract.

Application:

The medicinal product No-Spa Max 80mg is indicated for use in spasmodic conditions of smooth muscles associated with biliary tract diseases: cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, pericholecystitis, cholangitis, inflammation of the ampulla of Vater; in spasmodic conditions of smooth muscles of the urinary tract: nephrolithiasis, ureteral stones, pyelitis, cystitis, painful urinary urgency and as an adjunct: in spasmodic conditions of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, enteritis, colitis, in spasmodic conditions of the gastric cardia and pylorus, irritable bowel syndrome, spastic constipation and intestinal flatulence, pancreatitis; in gynecological conditions: painful menstruation.

Additional information:

Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect from moisture and light. Before use, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Caution should be exercised when using the drug: in people with hypotension, in pregnant women, in adolescents over 12 years of age. Use with other drugs: this should be discussed with your doctor. Caution should be exercised when administered concomitantly with levodopa (a drug used in Parkinson's disease) due to the reduction of its antiparkinsonian effect and the intensification of tremors and stiffness. Use with food and drink: can be taken with or without meals. Use in pregnant and breastfeeding women: consult your doctor, drotaverine crosses the placenta. Do not use the drug during labor. It is not recommended to use this drug during breastfeeding. Driving and operating machinery: in therapeutic doses, the drug does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery. if dizziness occurs, avoid driving or operating machinery. The drug contains lactose monohydrate - 104 mg of lactose monohydrate. In case of intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before using the medicine. The medicine contains quinoline yellow - 1.04mg quinoline yellow lake (E 104). Quinoline yellow may cause allergic reactions. The medicine contains soy lecithin - 0.294mg soy lecithin. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to peanuts or soy. The medicine contains sodium - less than 1mmol (23mg) of sodium per dose, the medicine is considered "sodium-free".

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug, in case of allergy to peanuts, soy. Do not use in case of severe liver, kidney and circulatory failure. Do not use in case of atrioventricular block II-III degree. Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Side effects:

Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. Rare: allergic reactions (angioedema, urticaria, rash, itching), headache and dizziness of peripheral (vestibular) origin, insomnia, palpitations, decreased blood pressure, nausea, constipation. Unknown frequency: dizziness of central origin.

Dosage of No-Spa Max 80mg tablets:

The medicine should be used according to the doctor's instructions or according to the instructions on the leaflet. Recommended dose for adults: one coated tablet 2-3 times a day; daily dose is 120-240 mg. Use in adolescents over 12 years of age: caution should be exercised, if it is necessary to use the medicine, one tablet should be used 1-2 times a day; maximum daily dose is 160 mg. Do not use for longer than 7 days without consulting a doctor. If after 7 days there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, consult a doctor.
