Nizoral cream 2% 30g | ketoconazole cream

Nizoral cream. Local fungal infections of the skin cause onerous pruritus that quickly and effectively soothes the Nizoral cream 2%. The Nizoral cream contains ketoconazole showing antifungal activity towards dermatophytes, which most often cause mycosis and yeast infections.

Nizoral cream 2% 30g | ketoconazole cream Composition:

Active substance: ketoconazole 20mg / g. Excipients: propylene glycol, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, isopropyl myristate, sodium sulfate anhydrous, polysorbate 80, purified water.

Nizoral cream Action:
Nizoral cream 2% in the form of a cream as an active substance contains an imidazole derivative - ketoconazole, which has antifungal activity towards dermatophytes from the genera Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Microsporum and yeasts of the genera Candida and Malassezia (Pityrosporum). The mechanism of the cream works by blocking the ergosterol biosynthesis, which is the building component of the fungal cell membrane. This leads to impaired membrane permeability and consequently to the death of dermatophytes. The product relieves pruritus and facilitates healing of skin lesions. The drug works locally, does not penetrate into the blood and does not give general action.

Nizoral cream Application:
Nizoral cream recommended for topical treatment of tinea, groin, hand and foot skin fungus caused by the following dermatophytes: Trichophyton, Trichophyton floccosum, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis, for the treatment of skin yeast and Pityriasis versicolor and in the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis caused by Pityrosporum ovale.
