Nasturtium and horseradish – a powerful duo
Nasturtium and horseradish are known to have a particularly spicy taste. This is due to the glucosinolates (mustard oil glycosides) they contain – particularly important secondary plant substances. After consumption, mustard oils are released, which are absorbed in the intestine and into the blood. In this way, the mustard oils reach the urinary tract (bladder, kidneys, prostate), the lungs and other organs.
Mustard oils, which are widespread in the plant kingdom, are found particularly in cruciferous vegetables, which also include horseradish, nasturtium and broccoli. Each plant has its own individual mustard oil profile, a unique combination of different mustard oils that complement each other perfectly.
The nasturtium used for Imurol is grown in Germany and is gently freeze-dried. This ensures that its freshness and the full spectrum of plant substances are optimally preserved. This type of processing is unique in the world.
Acerola cherry & cranberry - natural vitamin C and valuable plant substances
A daily dose of Imurol contains 40 mg of high-quality vitamin C from the acerola cherry. This vitamin C contributes to the following normal bodily functions:
• Protection of cells from oxidative stress
• Immune system
Cranberries were not only used as food by the indigenous peoples of North America, but were also particularly valued for their bioactive substances. In addition to the organic acids, these include the so-called proanthocyanidins.
Oregano oil – essential oil with carvacrol.
Oregano, also known as marjoram and cultivated primarily in the Mediterranean region, is often used as a spice. Biologically important ingredients, such as carvacrol, are found in the oil extracted from the plant. The oregano oil used as an ingredient in Imurol contains at least 70% carvacrol.
