MYKOSERT spray for skin and athlete's foot

Mykosert ® Spray stops skin and athlete's foot

What is Mykosert ® Spray?
Mykosert ®is a broadly effective drug for the treatment of skin and athlete's foot (tinea pedis) and other forms of skin fungus such as ringworm (tinea corporis) or bran worm (pityriasis versicolor).

How does Mykosert ® Spray work?
Mykosert ® contains the modern active ingredient sertaconazole, which has antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This means that Mykosert ® effectively combats the cause of the fungal disease and also alleviates the typical symptoms such as itching, burning, blisters and unpleasant odors on the skin.

Why spray instead of cream?
Using the spray has some advantages: for example…
- ... allows application without touching the infected skin
- ... the spray distributes the active ingredient evenly
- ... the capillary effect ensures good active ingredient distribution - even in difficult areas such as skin flakes and nail edges
- ... the alcoholic active ingredient solution from Mykosert ® disinfects Spray the skin additionally and keeps it dry and hygienic
- ... Mykosert ® Spray evaporates stain-free

New spray head!
Thanks to the improved spray head, the Mykosert ® Spray can not only be sprayed upright, but even overhead. This makes the application particularly easy. The affected parts of the body can be reached without any problems.

Mykosert ® can also be sprayed into shoes!
Mykosert ® Spray can also be sprayed into the shoes as part of athlete's foot therapy and thus help to reduce reinfection with athlete's foot.

Always treat athlete’s foot that occurs at the same time as nail fungus treatment!
As part of a nail fungus therapy with a suitable drug, a skin infection that often occurs at the same time should always be treated as well. Mykosert ® Spray is therefore also a good additional recommendation for the treatment of athlete's foot in patients with nail fungus.

Four common mistakes with skin and athlete's foot, that you should avoid

1. Symptoms are recognized too late or ignored
Even before the first skin changes can be seen, the fungus is usually noticeable through invisible signs. The fungal growth causes tension in the skin, which is noticeable through tingling, itching or a slight burning sensation.
Redness, skin cracks or blistering in the area between the toes are often mistaken for corns or pressure points. The quicker you react, the less complicated the treatment.

You can often even smell the fungus: an unpleasant odor can be the first sign of a fungal disease. Because if the skin's immune system is weakened by the fungus, certain bacteria can also multiply better.

2. People wait too long to treat

Skin fungus and athlete's foot should be treated as early as possible - i.e. at the first sign - because the longer the fungus remains untreated, the greater the risk of it spreading to other areas of the skin or the toenails.

3. Softened skin is additionally moisturized

Fungal diseases are often associated with moist, softened skin - ideal growth conditions for the pathogens. In this case, the skin should not be additionally moistened with a cream, but kept dry during the treatment. So reach for an alcohol-based antifungal spray such as Mykosert ® Spray. It dries and disinfects the skin, making fungal growth more difficult.

4. Socks and towels are washed incorrectly

The risk of infection from the washing machine is often underestimated. In the family and shared flats, the fungal pathogens often spread through the laundry in the washing machine.
Linen, towels and bed linen that come into contact with the infected skin areas should be washed separately and at a temperature of at least 60°C, or with special hygienic rinsers.

Use of Mykosert ® Spray for skin and athlete's foot

Mykosert ®Depending on the severity of the infection, the spray is sprayed onto the infected skin areas 1-2 times a day. The application takes place without touching the infected skin. The solution does not need to be spread with fingers or an applicator. This makes the application easy and hygienic. The active ingredient is absorbed into the skin immediately after application. After application, the effect remains waterproof for up to 48 hours like a protective shield against the fungus (depot effect).

With the new improved spray head, application is now even easier! The spray can be held upright or overhead for application. This means that the affected parts of the body can be treated easily.

The application of Mykosert ®Spray should also be continued after the first reduction of symptoms and is carried out until the disease has completely healed.
