Product information:
Astaxanthin is a natural carotenoid produced by the microalga *Haematococcus pluvialis* and is considered one of the most potent natural antioxidants. The patented ASTAFIT® raw material provides 8 mg of high-purity Astaxanthin per capsule in the form of a natural oleoresin. In nature, Astaxanthin is responsible for the characteristic reddish color of salmon and flamingos. The molecule is the subject of extensive clinical research—investigating, among other things, its role in relation to oxidative stress and cellular protective mechanisms.
