Ointment for use on small wounds, ulcers and skin burns. MaxiBiotic ointment has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity. The medicine contains three active substances (antibiotics).
MaxiBiotic for small wounds, ulcers and skin burns composition:
Active substances: neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B sulfate, bacitracin zinc.
1g ointment contains 5mg neomycin sulfate, 5000IU polymyxin B sulfate and 400IU zinc bacitracin and excipients: white petrolatum.
MaxiBiotic for small wounds, ulcers and skin burns operation:
The use of three active substances ensures a wide range of antibacterial activity. MaxiBiotic contains three antibiotics - neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B sulfate, zinc bacitracin. They complement their action, which ensures effectiveness against most bacteria that contribute to skin infections.
Application:
The medicinal product MaxiBiotic indicated for use on skin burns and ulcers, as well as minor wounds including abrasions, scratches, bites.
Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in hearing disorders. Do not apply to eyes. Do not use on stab or deep wounds, as well as severe burns, large areas of damaged skin and oozing lesions. Do not use under 12 years of age and in pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers.
Side effects:
Some people may get side effects while taking this medicine. Not known: infections and infestations: infection with resistant strains of bacteria or fungi; Immune system disorders: local signs of hypersensitivity (pruritus, rash, redness, swelling and other signs of irritation); ear and labyrinth disorders: ototoxicity; renal and urinary disorders: nephrotoxicity.
Dosage of MaxiBiotic ointment for small wounds, ulcers and skin burns:
Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Apply a small amount of ointment to the previously cleaned area. Leave uncovered or covered with a gas dressing. Use 2-5 times a day. Do not use for more than 7 days. After treatment, you should take a 3-month break before using the ointment again.
