Lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis) is also known as common lungwort in English. Other common names include brook herb, lungwort, lung tea, deer cabbage, and primrose. The plant contains saponins, mucilage polysaccharides, tannins, and silica.

Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica) is botanically not a moss, but a lichen. Lichens are a morphological unit consisting of a fungus and an alga living in symbiosis. Characteristic components of the lichen include bitter substances, lichen acids, iodine, mucilage, and vitamins A and B.

N-Acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) is a closely related compound of the sulfur-containing amino acid L-cysteine, or, in other words, its stabilized form. L-cysteine is a semi-essential amino acid that your body can produce, but not in sufficient quantities.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring organic sulfur compound obtained as a dietary supplement from pine wood as a byproduct of paper production. MSM is an important building block for the elastic tissue of the alveoli in the lungs. It is also a precursor to the formation of sulfur-containing amino acids such as methionine, glutathione, taurine, and cysteine, which are essential for the synthesis of a large proportion of our body's proteins.

Cordyceps and Reishi – two medicinal mushrooms in powdered extract form for a healthy gut feeling. Both medicinal mushrooms contain three major groups of substances that are particularly pronounced in medicinal mushrooms: polysaccharides, beta-glucans, and triterpenes. Cordyceps is characterized by the specific substances cordycepin and cordyceps acid.

Speedwell (Veronica) complements the complex with its ingredients: iridoid glycosides, flavonoids, tannins, phenolic acids and triterpene saponins.
