INFLAMMATION IN THE MOUTH AND THROAT Inflammation of the throat often occurs as a side effect of a cold and is usually triggered by typical cold viruses. It can be very painful and make it difficult for the person to eat, drink, swallow, or speak. Inflammations in the mouth such as gum or palate inflammation can occur due to incorrectly fitting prostheses or as part of infections. Gargling or rinsing with diluted Kamillosan ® concentrate relieves the symptoms in these cases and contributes to healing. INHALE CORRECTLY
Inhaling hot steam soothes coughs, clears a blocked nose and moisturizes irritated mucous membranes. However, you have to exercise particular caution: if a pot of hot water tips over, it can cause severe scalds. Children must therefore always be supervised when inhaling. In addition, hot fumes can also irritate the eyes. Steam inhalers are therefore more suitable. The mucous membrane in the upper respiratory tract is moistened in a targeted manner by means of a mouth and nose attachment. Additives such as chamomile in Kamillosan ® concentrate counteract inflammation of the nasal mucous membrane as well as in the mouth and throat and accelerate healing.
GASTROINTESTINAL COMPLAINTS
It is known that the good effectiveness and the broad spectrum of activity of chamomile are based on the totality of the fat- and water-soluble ingredients. As an alternative to tea, water-based alcoholic chamomile extracts such as Kamillosan ® concentrate are recommended because they contain both groups of active ingredients. A roll cure is recommended for stomach problems: dissolve 1 - 2 teaspoons of Kamillosan ® concentrate in a glass (250 to 300 ml) of lukewarm water and drink it on an empty stomach in the morning and in the evening before going to bed. Then place on your stomach, back and each side for two to three minutes so that the chamomile solution can wet the entire stomach lining.
