Kaltostat.

Kaltostat is a calcium-sodium alginate dressing for use as a primary dressing for moderately to heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds, as well as for wounds with minor bleeding. Upon contact with exudate, the dry fibers swell and absorb it. This product does not contain latex.

Composition:
Calcium-sodium alginate from the brown algae Laminaria hyperborea.

Indication:
Primary dressing and wound filler for minor bleeding superficial and deep wounds.

Kaltostat is particularly suitable for:

• Split-thickness skin graft donor sites
• Wounds after surgical debridement
• Lacerations
• abrasions
• Nosebleeds
• Tooth extractions
