The drug contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216) - may cause allergic reactions (possible late-type reactions). This medicine contains sodium - less than 1mmol (23mg) of sodium in 40ml, ie essentially 'sodium-free'.
Contraindications:

The maximum daily dose: 4 g of inosine pranobex (40 ml of syrup). The maximum daily dose should not be exceeded. Children over 1 year of age: the usual recommended dose is 50 mg / kg body weight per day (0.5 ml of syrup per 1 kg body weight per day) in 3 or 4 equal divided doses throughout the day. Body weight: 10-14 kg - 3 x 2.5 ml of syrup, 15-20 kg - 3 x 2.5-3.75 ml of syrup, 21-30 kg - 3 x 3.75 - 5 ml of syrup, 31-40 kg - 3 x 5-7.5 ml of syrup, 41-50 kg - 3 x 7.5-8.75 ml of syrup. Do not exceed the recommended doses. Measure the syrup with the measuring cup attached to the package. Duration of treatment: usually 5 to 14 days.
