An analgesic, anti-inflammatory drug for topical application to the skin. Ibum gel contains two active substances, ibuprofen and levomenthol. The drug is used symptomatically in the case of, among others, muscle pains, sports injuries, neuralgia.

Composition of IBUM, ibuprofen gel, levomenthol, muscle pains, sports injuries, neuralgia:

Active substances: ibuprofen (Ibuprofenum), levomenthol (Levomentholum). 1 g of gel contains 50 mg of ibuprofen and 30 mg of levomenthol and excipients: propylene glycol, ethanol 96%, polysorbate 20, EZ-2 carbomer, aminomethylpropanol, purified water.

Ibum gel is a topical drug with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The drug contains two active substances. Ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, which is why it has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Levomenthol has a cooling effect at the application site and slightly anesthetizes. The indications for the use of the drug include: muscle pain, neuralgia, back pain.

Application:
The medicinal product Ibum gel is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of muscle pain, back pain, pain associated with diseases of the musculoskeletal system (including mild forms of arthritis, sprains, sports injuries, neuralgia).

Contraindications:

Side effects:
The drug can cause side effects, not everyone will experience them. Side effects are very rare. Reported: immune system disorders: hypersensitivity, anaphylaxis, skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: rash, pruritus, urticaria, redness, swelling, dermatosis (epidermal necrolysis and erythema multiforme); respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: asthma, bronchospasm, dyspnoea, gastrointestinal disorders: abdominal pain and indigestion.

Dosage of IBUM, ibuprofen gel, levomenthol, muscle pains, sports injuries, neuralgia:

Use the drug as prescribed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the leaflet. Apply topically to the skin. Adults, the elderly, adolescents over 12 years of age: apply 5-12 cm of gel (an amount corresponding to about 50-125 mg of ibuprofen) up to 3 times a day, apply to the sore spot, rub gently until completely absorbed. Hands should be washed thoroughly after using this medicine, unless they require treatment. Do not use the drug more often than every 4 hours during the day. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, do not use for more than 2 weeks. Consult your doctor if you have the impression that the drug is too strong or too weak.
