1. What is Homviotensin® and what is it used for?
Homviotensin is a homeopathic medicine.
Homeopathy is understood as a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic illnesses.
The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include: mild forms of high blood pressure.
The use of this homeopathic medicine in the areas of application mentioned is based exclusively on homeopathic experience.
In severe forms of these illnesses, a clinically proven therapy is indicated.

2. What should you consider before taking Homviotensin®?
Homviotensin must not be taken
Warnings and precautions
Blood pressure should be monitored regularly.
The dosage prescribed by the doctor must be strictly adhered to.
The duration of use recommended by the doctor must be observed.
When taking homeopathic medicines, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial reaction). Such reactions are usually harmless. If the symptoms do not improve, the medicine should be discontinued. Once the initial reaction has subsided, the medicine can be taken again. If the symptoms worsen again, the medicine should be discontinued.
Any long-term treatment with a homeopathic medicine should be monitored by a doctor experienced in homeopathy, as undesirable drug test symptoms (new symptoms) may occur if taken when not indicated.
Children and adolescents
As insufficient data are available, use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age cannot be recommended.
Taking Homviotensin together with other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines. Simultaneous use with diuretic drugs (thiazide diuretics) can increase the effect of the active ingredient reserpine (see side effects). Reserpine increases the effect of other antihypertensive drugs, the effect of digitalis and drugs against cardiac arrhythmias (e.g. quinidine), as well as the depressant effect of alcohol, painkillers, antiallergic drugs (antihistamines) and psychotropic drugs. Reserpine reduces the effect of drugs against Parkinson's disease (levodopa).
Due to the reserpine content of this homeopathic medicine, MAO inhibitors (active ingredient in certain antidepressants) should be discontinued at least 14 days before treatment with Homviotensin.
Homviotensin can increase the effect of sympathomimetics (be careful with cough medicines, nose and eye drops, for example).
Taking Homviotensin with food and drink
The effect of a homeopathic medicine can be adversely affected by generally harmful lifestyle factors and by stimulants and stimulants.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
