The medicinal product Heviran Comfort Max 0.4 g contains acyclovir as the active substance. It is an antiviral drug. The drug is indicated for use in adults with normal immunity to prevent recurrence of herpes simplex.

Active substance acyclovir (Aciclovirum). Each tablet contains 400 mg of acyclovir and excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), magnesium stearate.

Immunocompromised people should consult a physician regarding treatment for any infection. You should increase your fluid intake while taking the drug to avoid damaging your kidneys. Use in children and adolescents: not to be used under 18 years of age. Use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding: always consult a doctor, however, it should not be used during pregnancy, unless the physician decides that the benefits of the drug outweigh the risks to the fetus. If there is no improvement or deterioration after one month of use, consult your doctor. People with renal impairment: in patients with severe renal impairment, with a creatinine clearance lower than 10 ml / min, the dosage is determined by the doctor.
