Hepa-Merz Granulat 3000 Areas of application:
Treatment of accompanying and secondary diseases due to impaired detoxification performance of the liver (e.g. in liver cirrhosis) with the symptoms of latent and manifest hepatic encephalopathy.

If the detoxification capacity of the liver is impaired and the resulting disturbances in consciousness occur

  • 3000 mg ornithine aspartate
Indication :
  • The medicine is a medicine used to stimulate ammonia detoxification by increasing urea synthesis in the liver. It also serves to detoxify ammonia in the tissue, i.e. outside the liver (extrahepatic).
  • The medicine is used to treat concomitant and secondary diseases due to impaired detoxification performance of the liver (e.g. liver cirrhosis) with the symptoms of latent and manifest hepatic encephalopathy.
Dosage :
  • Always take/apply the medicine exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
    • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
      • Take the contents of 1-2 sachets of the medicine dissolved up to 3 times a day.
