- Hederasal is used incidentally in chronic and acute inflammation of the upper respiratory tract; difficult expectoration of residual secretions; persistent cough.
HEDERASAL syrup 125g Children aged 1 years+, persistent cough Ingredients:
100 g of syrup contain 430.55 mg dry extract of ivy leaves (Hederae helicis extr. Siccum), which corresponds to approx. 78 mg hederakozydu C.
Excipients:
potassium sorbate, anise oil, propylene glycol, sorbitol 70%, purified water
Action:
The preparation has an expectorant and relaxant on bronchial smooth muscle; dilutes the thick secretions surging in the throat and lower respiratory tract and facilitates its expectoration.
The syrup contains no sugar (5 ml syrup contains 0.28 units of bread).
Indications: Incidentally, in chronic and acute inflammation of the upper respiratory tract; difficult expectoration of residual secretions; persistent cough.
Contraindications:
Children under 6 years of age Gently used during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Undesirable effects:
In the case of the preparation in doses higher than recommended may suffer from irritation of the stomach and intestines, vomiting and diarrhea.

Oral;
Infants given once a day on average 1 ½ tsp. The dose depends on the child and the weight and body surface area. Children aged 1 - 5 years 2 to 3 times a day ½ teaspoon, children aged 6 - 12 years 2 times a day 1 teaspoon Adults 3 to 4 times a day 1 teaspoon.
Syrup to take undiluted, drink plenty of water. Information for diabetics: The product does not contain sucrose. It can be used by people with diabetes. 1 teaspoon (6.2 g or 5 ml) of the syrup has 3,36g D-sorbitol, which corresponds to 0.28 bread units (BE).
