Folic Acid Aristo® ⁵ mg Tablets

For children aged 6 and over, adolescents, and adults: Treatment of folic acid deficiency (e.g., anemia due to folic acid deficiency) confirmed by a blood test, including a check of vitamin B12 levels; prevention of folic acid deficiency in patients taking medications that lower folic acid levels in the blood, prevention of neural tube defects in unborn children (such as spina bifida, a congenital malformation of the spine), and prevention in women who are planning a pregnancy and are known to be at risk.
