It is used to replace digestive enzymes in digestive disorders (maldigestion) as a result of insufficient or absent pancreatic function (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency).

The dosage depends on the extent of the indigestion. The recommended dose is 1 - 2 hard capsules per meal (equivalent to 20,000 - 40,000 lipase units). The required dose can also be higher.
