Corticoid-free ointment base for use as part of an interval treatment for skin diseases that are treated with corticoid-containing ointments or creams, such as. E.g. eczema and dermatitis as well as psoriasis. The basic ointment is particularly suitable for the treatment of chronic skin diseases with dry skin.
