Drops for cats against fleas and ticks, containing Fipronil.

Indications Drops for cats against fleas, Effipro 4 x 50 mg Spot-on

- Combating flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) and tick (Dermacentor reticulatus) infestations.

- The product provides effective protection against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) for up to 5 weeks.

- The product provides effective acaricidal activity for up to 2 weeks - in the case of ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus). If certain species of ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) are present during treatment with the product, not all ticks may be killed within the first 48 hours, but they may be killed within a week.

- The product can be used as part of a strategy to combat APZS (flea allergy dermatitis), previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.



Contraindications


- Do not use in kittens less than 2 months old and/or weighing less than 1 kg in the absence of data.

- Do not use in sick animals (e.g. systemic diseases, fever) or recovered animals.

- Do not use in rabbits as side effects, even death, may occur.

- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or other ingredients of the product.

Provides effective protection against adult fleas for up to 5 weeks.

Provides effective protection against arachnids for up to 2 weeks - in the case of ticks (rhipicephalus sanguineus, ixodes ricinus, dermacentor reticulatus). If certain species of ticks (rhipicephalus sanguineus, ixodes ricinus) are present during treatment with the product, not all ticks may be killed within the first 48 hours, but they may be killed within a week.



Use


For external use only - 1 pipette of 0.5 ml for a cat. Hold the pipette with the tip up. Hit the narrow part of the pipette to make sure that all the contents are in its main part. Break the tip of the pipette along the designated line. Brush the fur so that the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on exposed skin and gently press it several times until it is completely empty. Repeat this step in 1 or 2 different places along the animal's back.

Make sure that your cat cannot lick the area where the preparation has been applied and that other animals cannot lick each other after applying the preparation. Avoid excessive wetting of the hair with the preparation, as this may cause the hair to stick together in the place where the preparation is applied. However, if this happens, it should disappear within 24 hours of application.
