Coenzyme Q-10 or ubiquinone is a vitamin-like substance. It is partly ingested through food. Its importance is underscored by the fact that it is the only fat-soluble antioxidant that the body can produce on its own. However, this ability decreases steadily from the age of 40.

Coenzyme Q-10 or ubiquinone is a vitamin-like endogenous substance that is essential to human life. In its pure form, Coenzyme Q-10 is an orange-yellow powder with no odor or taste. Some of it is ingested through food, but it is also produced in the body itself. In all human cells, coenzyme Q-10 is responsible for the production of the body's own energy and for protection against external influences. It is found in fish, meat, poultry, nuts, eggs, soybean oil and yeast. A large part of the coenzyme Q-10 present in the body comes from food.

Coenzyme Q-10-GPH Capsules contain 100 mg of Coenzyme Q-10.
Malnutrition, destroyed coenzyme Q-10 (in the case of preserved food) and disturbances in the body's own synthesis (reduced production in old age or a lack of various vitamins) can lead to a coenzyme Q-10 deficiency. In these cases, a daily supply of coenzyme Q-10 supplements the diet.

Description of raw materials
Only coenzyme Q-10 from Kaneka is used. Kaneka Q10 is 100% pure, nature-identical Q-10 made by fermentation. Produced under strict GMP rules, Q-10 contains only trans Q-10 and is free of synthetic cis isomers. The raw material corresponds to the European, American and Japanese pharmacopoeia. KanekaQ10 is safe because it corresponds to the body's own coenzyme Q-10.
It contains no animal raw material, is kosher certified, free of BSE and GMOs and free of allergens. The gelatine used in the hard gelatine capsules is BSE/TSE-tested pharmaceutical gelatine.
