chaga mushroom tea benefits:
Chaga mushroom tea is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that may boost the immune system, reduce inflammation, and lower cholesterol. It may also help regulate blood sugar, improve skin health, and protect against oxidative stress.
``Chaga is believed to have potent antioxidant and anti- inflammatory properties, making it a potential alternative remedy for things like arthritis and high blood pressure. It may also help lower blood sugar and even slow the progression of cancer cells. Chaga may also help: Ease inflammation.'' I have it in tea form.
Recently, several reports revealed that Chaga has cytotoxic effects against several types of cancer cells such as sarcoma (Chung et al., 2010), lung adenocarcinoma (Baek et al., 2018), colon cancer (Lee et al., 2009), melanoma (Youn et al., 2009) as well as hepatocellular carcinoma (Youn et al., 2008).
Chaga may protect brain cells and slow brain ageing. Studies show it helps reduce plaque buildup linked to Alzheimer's
Chaga Mushroom Tea
Preparation: Boil 4 medium pieces (approx. 2 cm) of chaga in 2 liters of hot water and let it steep for at least 30 minutes on low heat until the water turns dark brown or almost black. The longer the tea steeps, the better. Tip: Always add a squeeze of lemon to the boiling water to extract all the minerals. This portion of chaga can be used 3-4 times and re-boiled with fresh water until the tea water no longer turns dark
