  • A panty liner should be worn while using the vaginal suppository to avoid grease stains on textiles.

  • Treatment during menstruation should only be carried out in the case of pronounced symptoms. Ask your doctor about this.
  • If there is evidence of yeast infection in the vagina, medical supervision should be carried out in the last 4 - 6 weeks of pregnancy to ensure that the birth canal is free of fungi.
  • In the event of a simultaneous fungal infection of the labia and adjacent areas or in the case of medically diagnosed inflammation of the glans and foreskin of the partner due to a fungal infection, additional local treatment with intended forms of application should be carried out. To avoid possible reinfection, the partner should therefore be examined by a doctor at the same time.

Mode of action:
How does the ingredient in the drug work?

The active ingredient damages the outer shell, the so-called cell membrane of fungi. This shell thus loses some of its functions, for example it becomes less permeable to nutrients - the cell starves, or cell components escape and the cell dissolves. Depending on the concentration of the active ingredient, the fungi are thereby inhibited in their growth and reproduction or killed directly. The active ingredient is also effective against certain bacteria.
