Product information "Basic Capsules"

Good for the carbohydrate balance

An active and balanced carbohydrate metabolism is the basis for all bodily functions and thus for health in general. Chromium* 1 is simply part of a comprehensive supply of nutrients and contributes to a normal metabolism of macronutrients as well as to maintaining normal blood sugar levels.
Our basic capsules therefore contain chromium* 1 and other nutrients required for carbohydrate metabolism plus the exclusive PlantaVis cell protection complex.

Chromium* 1 and Zinc*  for (carbohydrate) metabolism

The basis of every diet are macronutrients. These include proteins, carbohydrates and lipids, which also include fatty acids and triglycerides. These nutrients are what give us energy. They also provide the raw materials that the organism needs for an almost infinite number of metabolic processes.
In order for this "chemical factory" to function optimally, the organism needs additional substances. These are the so-called micronutrients, i.e. vitamins, minerals, trace elements and secondary plant substances. One of these substances is the trace element chromium* 1 . It contributes to a normal metabolism of macronutrients. It is present in the PlantaVis basic capsules as chromium (III) picolinate.
The capsules also contain fruit extracts rich in vitamin C* 4 , magnesium* 3 , zinc* 2 plus L-carnitine tartrate and L-arginine and, of course, our cell protection complex - the extracts and concentrates of fruit, vegetables, herbs and mushrooms contained therein support a balanced Nutrition. In addition, the vitamins and minerals of the cell protection complex partially cover the daily requirement of essential nutrients such as vitamin C* 4 .

The metabolism is the basis for overall well-being

The overall well-being also depends on the carbohydrate balance and a healthy metabolism, as well as our personal performance. What's more, metabolism also controls blood sugar levels, which can ultimately affect body weight as well. For example, food cravings are often triggered by an unbalanced blood sugar level.

Carbohydrate and fat metabolism are closely linked and complement each other. So it is a good thing that chromium* 1 supports the maintenance of a normal blood sugar level. A good metabolism of macronutrients is also important in the area of sport and fitness in general - both when training to build muscle and for general performance, but also during a diet the carbohydrate balance is the basis for normal body functions. So there are many reasons to do something good for your own carbohydrate balance.

- * 1 Chromium contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients and the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels.
- * 2 Zinc contributes to normal fatty acid metabolism and normal carbohydrate metabolism.
- * 3 Magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal protein synthesis.
- * 4 Vitamin C contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Tip : Ascorbic acid (vitamin C* 4 ) promotes the absorption of chromium* 1 via the small intestine. Although the capsules already contain plenty of vitamin C* 4 , it can only be helpful to take the capsules together with a fruit juice containing vitamin C* 4 .
