Biotin 500 mcg

Biotin is one of the water-soluble B vitamins. It is also known as vitamin B7 or vitamin H.

Biotin is crucial for energy production from carbohydrates and fats. In carbohydrate metabolism, this vitamin promotes the synthesis of sugars from proteins and fats. Most people in Germany today eat too much sugar and fat. This means that the body has to break down and convert more nutrients than it did a few decades ago.

Biotin is involved in protein metabolism and works together with folate (folic acid), pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), and vitamin B12. Biotin supports healthy skin. A mild biotin deficiency first becomes noticeable in the fastest-growing areas of the body.

Because of its importance for skin and hair, biotin was formerly called vitamin H. It is still often referred to as the beauty vitamin.

Recommended intake:
Take 1-2 capsules per day with water at mealtimes.

Composition:
Each capsule contains 500 µg biotin, which corresponds to an NRV* of 1000%.

Ingredients:
Vegetarian capsule (pullulan, from fermented cassava starch), rice concentrate (Oryza sativa), leucine, anti-caking agent (calcium salts of fatty acids), biotin.
