Instructions for using Onligol Macrogol 4000 in sachets: 

The pre-measured sachets of Onligol Macrogol 4000 allow for easy use – even when you're out and about. Unless otherwise advised by a doctor, the following standard dosage applies to 

adults and children aged 11 years and over or weighing 20 kilograms or more: ¹

For children under 11 years of age, body weight, along with individual needs, determines the appropriate dosage until soft stools are produced. For this age group, Onligol Macrogol 4000 in the sachet is recommended, as the amount can be flexibly adjusted using the enclosed measuring spoon.

Stir the recommended amount of Onligol Macrogol 4000 into at least 125 ml of warm or cold liquid – ideally 150 ml for children. Suitable liquids include tea, milk, broth, or juice. Drink the solution immediately after mixing, preferably between meals.

Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 30 grams (3 sachets)! Important to know: Onligol Macrogol 4000 is reimbursable

in certain cases for children and adolescents from 6 months to 16 years of age : • from 2 to 11 years of age for constipation • from 12 to 16 years of age only for specific conditions such as tumors, megacolon (except toxic megacolon), diverticulosis, diverticulitis, cystic fibrosis, neurogenic bowel dysfunction, phosphate-binding therapy for chronic renal insufficiency, during opiate or opioid treatment, and in the final stages of life • in developmentally delayed adolescents aged 12 to 16 years for the treatment of constipation. 

What undesirable side effects can occur?

 • Flatulence • Nausea. These side effects usually subside with continued use. Rarely, users experience hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes or hives.
