Unless otherwise prescribed, take 1 teaspoonful (approx. 1.5 ml) of valerian tincture, diluted with a little water, 2 to 3 times a day to calm down and, if you have trouble sleeping, take 1 teaspoonful (approx. 3 ml) of valerian tincture half an hour before going to bed .
