Kelp-Iodine Seaweed Tablets
Kelp seaweed tablets are rich in natural iodine, which contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function. In our latitudes, the population tends to consume little iodine because we rarely eat sea fish and fruits. Artificially iodized table salt has led to fewer people suffering from goiter. If sufficient iodized table salt is used, no additional iodine preparation should be used. If, however, non-iodized salt is used or the food is cooked with low salt, the use of the seaweed kelp (vegetable-bound iodine) is an ideal dietary supplement.
