In particular, the manufacturer must state that sodium citrate solution may be used in conjunction with the respective IVD or MD.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMechanism of action:\u003cbr\u003eSodium citrate inhibits blood clotting by complexing the calcium ions in the blood.
