Mepitel can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds, blisters, fragile skin and exposed fragile tissue. The open structure of Mepitel allows topical ointments to be applied to the wound when clinically indicated. You can use Mepitel in combination with Mesorb or - for heavily exuding wounds - together with Mextra Superabsorbent, with Tubifast fixation and under compression bandages.
